Corazones Felices

Corazones Felices, or the 'Happy Hearts' program, was started by Rosa María Vides de Monzón. Rosa Maria was a lawyer dedicated to helping the children and families in Guatemala as well as those that were adopted out prior to the closure of international adoptions. Rosa Maria has provided support emotionally, financially and legally to those in need and has been an avenue of support for the development of the missions of the Guatemala Aid Fund. The Happy Hearts program is focused on helping poor Guatemalan children to improve their ways of life through the love and commitment of some wonderful sponsors. They provide counseling for families, school tuition support as well as school supplies and food supports.  Rosa Maria is in the maroon sweater in the photo below . Below is a picture of Wilmar, a parapelegic boy. GAF donated $500 towards the purchase of this special bed for him so his family could care for him in his own home. Rosa Maria's legacy of support and giving continues as her Children continue to run Happy Hearts. GAF provides an annual donation to this program to support education for the children they work with.
