The Happy Hearts Program
The Happy Hearts program is run by Rosa María Vides de Monzón with her cousin Veronica as the program coordinator. Rosa Maria and Veronica are dedicated to helping the children and families of children that stay in Guatemala as well as those that are adopted. Rosa Maria has provided support emotionally, financially and legally to those in need and has been an avenue of support for the development of the missions of the Guatemala Aid Fund. The Happy Hearts program is focused on helping poor Guatemalan children to improve their ways of life through the love and commitment of some wonderful sponsors. They currently have numerous children in need of sponsorship. Rosa Maria is in the maroon sweater in the photo below and veronica is in the white sweater, shown holding a bay at Luz de Maria. Below is a picture of Wilmar, a parapelegic boy. GAF donated $500 towards the purchase of this special bed for him so his family could care for him.
